Casual_observer is a DJ and producer originally hailing from Amsterdam, where he co-organises the “moving closer” event series. He currently resides in Berlin, and holds a residency at UK based Subtle radio. Starting his musical journey as a drummer, his music retains a heavy focus on groove, rhythm and experimentation. Sets by casual_observer are diverse and engaging, finding a unifying groove and energy across the various musical genres he explores. Often playing jungle, broken techno, footwork, breaks and more, the only guarantee is tasteful selection and a crowd that can’t stand still.
